We finally made it to Albq today.  I’m still astounded by the amount of crap we packed to stay at Grandma’s house for 2 weeks.  OMG – it filled the bed of the truck.  We brought the kids’ mattresses and bedding, since Sean and I are taking up the guest bed, and my mom is also coming and will use the air bed.  Then we had to bring lots of bulky clothing because its nice and cold here.  We also had to empty out the fridge since its going to be shut down while we’re here.

We finally got around to checking the oil in the truck, since we’ve had a bit of a leak for awhile.  I don’t know how its still leaking, there was no oil at all on the dipstick.  I wonder if this has something to do with it missing while we tow the trailer up hills.  Hmm.  We’ll take it to the shop on Monday morning and find out how bad we’ve screwed it up.

Its amazing how clear the air is out here, its beautiful.  And the sky is so black at night, you can see a million stars.

Good news – my purse made it to the Twin Peaks restaurant here, we’ll pick it up sometime tomorrow.

I’m so happy that you guys made it to ABQ. We hope your holidays are full of peace, love, and cookies! Can’t wait to see pics of the kids on Christmas morning…nothing is better than that!

Yes, cookies! Janis made some chocolate crinkles, one of her friends dropped off a bunch of yummy stuff today, and we’ve got sugar cookies to make tomorrow. And I’m going to make fudge in a few days.
