Sean and I are in Taos now, while the kids and dog are back with Grandma. Its SO nice to have a couple of days of no responsibility for anyone else. We stopped and shopped a little bit in town, found a cool toy store and got stuff for the kids. We wanted to look around more but we needed to get to our rental house before dark. Its a good thing we did, we never would have found it at night. We’re staying in an Earthship. There are about 50 of them in this community, but looks like most lots are not developed. There is snow all over the ground, its gorgeous. Unfortunately, we did manage to get the truck stuck in a snowbank about 1/4 mile from the house. I took a picture but I don’t feel like getting it off the camera right now. We had to turn a tight corner, and the truck was just too long. We ran it into a snowbank. The road is icy under the snow and we can’t get any traction to get it out. So, AAA will come tomorrow morning to tow us out. Its supposed to snow more tomorrow, so we’ll see if we can get out on our own on Monday. We had planned to go do something tomorrow, but I’m thinking we may just stay here and enjoy the silence. There is no traffic here, so I don’t think our truck will be in the way. Not until the snowplow guy comes anyway.
